Hey!  I am in Swansea, Wales.  I have been here for like four days now.  I am heading back to the states in just two days.  Wow.  God is good and I have been having a good time here getting to see the church and the work God is doing.  God bless you all!  I'd appreciate continued prayers for life and just trusting God and doing whatever He tells me to do and that I would know what it is He is telling me to do.  Thanks y'all.  God bless.

I am at the airport in Bangkok now.  I have been here for about eight hours and have about nine more to go before my flight takes off heading to England.  The overnight train got me here at about five thirty in the morning while my flight does not take off until eleven at night.  Wow.  It has not been all that bad though, and it is a relatively nice airport.  Keep me in your prayers if you would.  God bless you all!

I am leaving today!
Tonight I get on an overnight train heading to Bangkok.  Then tommorrow, Thursday, I will have all day in Bangkok before flying out tommorrow night.  Then early friday morning I will be arriving in London.  Then a five hour bus ride to swansea, Wales.  A week there then another five hour bus ride back to London.  Then it will be a flight to Boston and then a flight home to California.  Wow.  That's a lot of travelling.  I would appreciate your prayers for safe travels, that my focus could remain on the Lord, and for the time in Wales.  Thank you all.  God bless you.

Hey Everybody!
So here is what is happening in my life: I am leaving Thailand in one week!  It has been a good time here and I am really going to miss a lot of friends the Lord has given me here even though we cannot speak the same language.  I still do not know what I will be doing next, although I do have the continued desire to serve Him in the area of missions.  I am stopping by Swansea, Wales for a week on my way home to visit a church plant over there.  I would appreciate your prayers for all my travels on my way home, the time with the church in Swansea, and guidance and direction for the future.  Thanks.  So I am arriving back in Southern California on October 27.  And frankly, I want to see all of you.  So, if you want to hang out drop a comment on my site or email me or something and we will try work out when to get together.  my email is bondservant@lycos.com  God bless you all.  Thanks to all of you so much for your prayers and support.

Love your brother in Christ,
Stephen

Hey Y'all!
So this is something I saw when I was preparing to teach over here in Thailand.  I thought It was cool.  It is out of John 12:1-3.  This is shortly before Jesus is crucified.  He stops in Bethany to visit His friends Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, whom he had just recently raised from the dead.  They make dinner for him and here I see three cool examples of ways we can worship Jesus and show Him the love we have for Him.
The first is Martha.  She showed her love by serving Jesus and His disciples.  This is something she had done before, but now has learned and is doing it without complaining and with joy.  By serving Jesus and others with joy and out of love for Christ, we can show Him our love.
Next is Lazarus.  He showed His love for Jesus by just sitting at the table with Him and fellowshipping.  He probably listened to all that Jesus said and talked with Him some Himself.  We can worship God in this way too: by spending time in His word, hearing what He has to say to us.  Then we can speak back to Him in prayer, having fellowship with God.
Thirdly I see Mary.  She showed her love to Jesus in an open act of affection and worship.  She gave her very best, most likely her most valuable possesion.  She acted in humility thinking her very best was only good enough for Jesus' feet.  Then she got down and openly and unashamedly wiped His feet with her hair.  This is a beautiful picture of worshipping the Lord and pouring out our love to Him.  Now we are unable to physically worship Jesus like Mary did, but we can worship Him in the Spirit and pour out our hearts to Him.
So, I just thought it was cool how this family each worshipped God in their own way as the Spirit led them.  All three are good examples of ways we can show our love to Jesus for all that He has done for us.  Remember: We love Him because He first loved us.  God bless everybody (not that anyone reads this)
